When hair starts feeling rough, stretchy or simply impossible to style, adding more oil is not always the answer. Sometimes it needs protein, sometimes moisture, and sometimes the real issue is sitting right at the scalp.
These three Korean treatments approach the problem from completely different angles, which makes them particularly interesting if your routine has started feeling a little too one-note.

Elizavecca CER-100 Protein Treatment

Price: around €9 | Rating: 4.6/5
This is the one I would pull out when my hair has clearly had enough of colouring, bleaching or heat styling. Elizavecca CER-100 Collagen Ceramide Coating Protein Treatment combines hydrolysed collagen, keratin, silk and plant proteins in a rich mask designed to make damaged strands feel smoother and stronger.
What I like most is that the effect does not require an elaborate routine. Hair feels noticeably softer, less rough and easier to detangle after rinsing. Because it is such a protein-focused treatment, I would personally use it as an occasional rescue step rather than automatically reaching for it every wash.

UNOVE Deep Damage Treatment EX

Price: around €26
UNOVE Deep Damage Treatment EX in Tender Bloom is another option for damaged hair, but the finish feels more silky and cosmetic to me. The formula contains Keratin-PF at 30,000 ppm and is aimed at dry, frizzy and chemically or heat-damaged lengths.
Despite being a fairly intensive treatment, it is designed to leave the hair smooth without that heavy, coated feeling that can make fine lengths look flat. I would use this when I want my hair to feel softer and more manageable before styling. The floral Tender Bloom fragrance also makes the whole thing feel slightly more luxurious than your average repair mask.

Seapuri Scalpy Hair Serum

Price: around €24 | Rating: 5/5
This one shifts the attention away from the lengths completely. Seapuri Scalpy Hair Serum is a lightweight leave-in scalp treatment with panthenol, salicylic acid, hydrolysed keratin and menthol. It also comes with a built-in applicator that lets you work the serum directly into targeted areas of the scalp.
The texture is light enough for regular use and does not have that greasy scalp-serum finish I usually try to avoid. Salicylic acid helps exfoliate surface buildup, while panthenol supports hydration. I would choose it particularly for a scalp that feels dry, congested or in need of a fresher, cleaner-feeling routine.
These three products may all sit under the “repair” umbrella, but they are not interchangeable. Elizavecca is the concentrated protein fix, UNOVE gives damaged lengths that soft, polished finish, while Seapuri focuses on scalp care rather than disguising problems at the ends. Sometimes the biggest upgrade to a hair routine is simply choosing the treatment for the part of your hair that actually needs it.
